About us
With more than 10 years in education, and a primary focus on post-secondary transition skills, I have decided to take my passion for providing individualized real-world experiences beyond the classroom and offer private services. Too many families are left in fear and confusion after their young adult graduates from high school. With a collaborative team approach, my goal is to provide emerging adults and their families with more clarity and confidence regarding life after high school.
In addition to academic credentials, I also possess the personal experience of growing up with a disability. As a nine-year-old child I suddenly lost my eye sight and obtained the “legally blind” label. Therefore, social skills and self-advocacy skills became a huge need of mine in order to adjust and confidently navigate the world around me. With a different approach and slightly more time, I believe that we are all capable of much more than we’re given credit for. I look forward to working with each of you as we dissolve the pity, we’ve been given and highlight our powerful abilities.
